Mojo Picon. Green 135g


This sauce comes from the Canary Islands. It is a staple there, and goes with just about everything!

Try it with “papas arrugadas” (small boiled potatoes with salt and lemon) for a Canary Island specialty!

It normally accompanies potatoes and fresh fish, either fried or boiled, although it also goes perfectly with roasted chicken.




Green Mojo is made with basically the same ingredients as the traditional Red Mojo Picon, but without the ‘picona’ peppers, which are replaced by cilantro or parsley. Cumin seed, garlic and green pepper may also be added. It is green in colour and its consistency is less uniform than that of the mojo picón.
