Black garlic is considered a superfood. Black garlic is nothing but the head of common garlic, unpeeled, subject to a process of controlled maturation in closed wooden chambers.
Black garlic looks golden on the outside but that when opened is an intense black color. It has a tender texture, like that of roasted garlic, a sweet, almost fruity flavor and a very mild aroma. Thanks to this, when consumed it does not harm the breath or cause upset stomach.
The most important thing is that this bulb has the virtues of fresh garlic, but much more concentrated; So much so, that a single clove of black garlic provides the energy equivalent to a common garlic head. This is why black garlic is a real superfood.
