If you like a non oaky Red Rioja this is your choice! This lithe red is bright and energetic. Fresh raspberry and blackberry flavors mingle with milky aromas
Grape variety:
Tempranillo
D.O.
Rioja
Vintage:
2023
Colour:
Medium-high intensity, blue and violet tones. Abundant and dense leg.
Nose:
High intensity, with precise Rioja Tempranillo character, the blackberries and red berries (cassis, blackberry and raspberry) showing up, mixed up with milky aromas and light recall of cream candy.
Palate:
Dry wine. Very smooth attack in the mouth, with round development showing a big glyceric load that allows a very long final.
Vineyards:
Rioja Alta & Rioja Alavesa
Wine Making:
2023 vintage will be rated as one of the best vintages. A dry year with a mild summer, with some showers which covered the spring waterless period and without excessive warm weather, giving a slow ripening of the grapes. Harvest took place in the 4th week of September
.
An extremely mild winter and absent of rains led to a very rainy spring. Spring storms led to a very late harvest. Harvest took place in October. Fermentation – maceration in stainless steel tanks with temperature control for 16 days. Aged in the bottle.
75cl
12.5% abv
Enjoy at 16° C
Pair it charcuterie, sobrasada, pates and cheese fondues. Very adequate for white meats and fishes in sauce.
