Whole Piquillo Peppers from Lodosa are small tangy chili peppers found only in the rural village of Lodosa in Navarra, a region close to La Rioja.
They are fire-roasted then hand-peeled and packed in their own juices.
Their firmness, softness of flesh and characteristic sweet, slightly smoky flavour, and just bitter enough, makes them a classic Spanish tapas.
